Professional Status Declaration

Version 1.0.0 · In force since August 7, 2026

Publishing a profile and purchasing visibility services on Elite Contactos is reserved for people acting in connection with an independent professional activity. This page explains the declaration required from them.

1. Purpose of the declaration

Elite Contactos is a professional visibility service. The paid services are business-to-business services intended to be purchased for the purposes of an independent professional activity.

The declaration allows the platform to confirm the professional nature of the relationship before publication and before any purchase, and to apply the corresponding contractual framework.

2. Wording of the declaration

“I confirm that I act in connection with my independent professional activity and that I use Elite Contactos, and purchase visibility services, for the purposes of that activity. I acknowledge that I am responsible for complying with the legal, administrative, social, accounting and tax obligations applicable to my activity in my jurisdiction.”

The declaration is never pre-ticked. It requires a deliberate action on your part, and the box cannot be validated by simply continuing.

3. What the declaration does not mean

The declaration does not create any employment, agency, partnership or representation relationship with the operator, and does not make the operator a provider of the activity you carry out.

It does not amount to a verification of your situation by the platform, and it does not replace any authorisation, registration or formality that may be required of you in your country.

4. Professional status and tax registration

Acting in a professional capacity and being registered for value added tax are two different things. The platform does not require you to declare that you collect a tax that you are not liable for.

Where relevant, the following are collected separately: your professional country, your business status, and a tax identification number only if you actually have one. These items are used to determine the correct treatment of your invoices, not to presume it.

5. Information collected

The declaration itself records the fact that you accepted it, the version of the wording, the date and time, the language in which it was presented, and the version of the legal documents in force at that moment.

No supporting document is requested at this stage. No unnecessary sensitive data is collected.

6. Evidence and versioning

Each version of the declaration is identified by a version number. If the wording changes substantively, a new acceptance is requested; earlier acceptances remain attached to the version to which they related.

This evidence is private. It is never published and is not visible to other users.

7. Consequences of an incorrect declaration

A declaration that is knowingly incorrect constitutes a breach of the Terms of Use and may lead to the withdrawal of the profile and to the suspension of the account and of the paid services.
