Profile verification
Verification is an optional check that adds a visible badge to a profile. It confirms that the person behind the profile matched the identity they submitted at the moment of review.
What verification means
A verified badge means a moderator reviewed the request and accepted the evidence provided. It is a point-in-time human check, not a continuous guarantee.
Who can request it
Any account holder with a published profile and at least one approved photo can request verification. Verification is per profile, not per photo.
What is requested
A government-issued identity document showing date of birth, and a verification photo that lets the moderator match the person to the profile. Additional evidence may be requested if the first submission is unreadable.
Privacy and retention
Verification evidence is used only to make the verification decision. It is never published, never shown on the public profile and never shared with other users. It is stored separately from public profile data and deleted once the decision is recorded and the retention period defined in the privacy policy has elapsed.
How the badge behaves
Once granted, the badge appears on the profile, on search cards and on city pages. It can be removed if the profile is later found to breach the publishing rules or if the profile identity changes materially.
Review, refusal and retry
Requests are reviewed manually. If a request is refused you are told which requirement was not met and you can submit a new request once that is resolved. There is no penalty for a refused request.
What verification does NOT guarantee
It does not certify any service, any price, any availability, any health status, nor the accuracy of every field on the profile. It does not make the platform a party to anything agreed between users. Always use your own judgement.
