How to show up on Google as a companion: SEO title and description
When your profile comes up on Google, a client sees two things before clicking: a blue title and a short text underneath. They are called the SEO title and SEO description, and you can write them yourself.
What is the SEO title?
The blue line Google shows when your page comes up.
The essentials, step by step
- It is the title shown in Google's results, in blue, above the description. It is the first thing a client reads.
- Ideal: up to 60 characters, with your name, your city and what you offer.
Example: “Sofia · companion in Marbella and Puerto Banús”
What is the SEO description?
The short text Google usually shows under the title.
The essentials, step by step
- These are the two lines Google usually shows under the title (sometimes it picks another text from your page). They help a client decide to click.
- Ideal: 140 to 160 characters, with your city, your languages and a clear invitation to message you.
Example: “Companion in Marbella and Puerto Banús. I speak Spanish and English. See my photos and message me on WhatsApp.”
Frequently asked questions
Does Google always show my SEO description?
Usually, but it sometimes picks another text from your page. Even so, a good description helps the client understand what you offer.
Can I change them later?
Yes, whenever you like, from the SEO section of your dashboard. If in doubt, Alma can suggest a version.
